Zone
Labs, has, in my opinion, the best
freeware Firewall product available. It is easy to
use and securely prevents intruders (hackers) from
seeing or invading your computer.
ZoneAlarm® Pro is the firewall I
install. Once you have installed Zone Alarm® you
will be shocked, horrified even, to see the number
of computers that are intruding, by stealth, into
your system. This freeware makes your computer
invisible to those looking to cause trouble!

Compupic, by Photodex, is a GREAT
little photo viewer with some editing capability.
I use Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Illustrator
but for everyday use to look at pics and graphics
it's hard to beat Compupic. For the more
adventurous the Pro version also lets you create
picture CDs and DVDs, viewing software included, and create
thumbnail web pages.

MLB.com is the best
place to find current stats and player information
for Major League Baseball. You can listen to any
MLB game over the internet (home or away radio
station) or just follow along pitch-by-pitch.

Internet Movie Database,
Inc. is by far the best movie site
I've found. If you want to know who, what, where
or when about a Theatrical or Made-for-TV movie
this is the place. If you are a real movie buff
you can even import film info from this site into
MovieCollector from Collectorz.com.

|
Movie Collector is just
one of the cool products from Collectorz.com. If
you have an extensive movie collection a program
like this one is a must for organizing your DVDs
and/or VHS tapes. The program connects to the
Internet Movie Database to retrieve movie
information, only type the title and download the
rest(covers included).

Google is by far the
best search engines on the planet. It has a
browser bar plug-in that puts its power at your
finger tips. If you haven't tried the Google
search engine yet you must!

Lockergnome.com is
not for the faint of heart but Geeks will love it.
Serious info on all that is computer related. Free
newsletters on a variety of subjects. Outstanding!

Cnet.com calls itself
"The Source for Computing and Technology." That's
not far off. News, Reviews, Tips, Software and
more can be found here. Lots of cool stuff for
both the "newbie" and the more experienced.
